Though the fine lines and wrinkles on our foreheads may get most of our attention, you shouldn’t forget about the crow’s feet and wrinkles that appear around your eye area either. They might be smaller than the wrinkles on your forehead, but crow’s feet can be just as difficult to hide. If you have crow’s feet or wrinkles around your eye area, you may have resorted to using sunglasses, makeup, or even Botox to cover them up. Even worse, crow’s feet can contribute to an aged complexion, which is not what you want if you desire sparkling, glowing eyes.

The good news is, while it might seem like that crow’s feet and those wrinkles around your eye area won’t budge from your face, there are easy ways to manage your crow’s feet and eye wrinkles without resorting to Botox at all. Today, you will learn 3 tips that can help you eliminate crow’s feet naturally. You will also learn how to make 2 home remedies that you can use immediately to start fading those lines and wrinkles around your eye area. With these tips and home remedies, we hope that your eye area will start to look more glowing and youthful than ever before!

1. Get Enough Sleep

When you don’t get enough sleep, not only do you feel more tired, but your skin might look more tired too. A lack of sleep means that your body doesn’t get enough time to undo UV damage and repair the skin, which could result in crow’s feet as well as more pronounced fine lines, wrinkles, and discoloration. In order to diminish the crow’s feet and wrinkles around your eye area, you need to attain a restful night of sleep regularly. A good sleep schedule is key to a glowing, youthful eye area, and it can also be beneficial to your skin and hair.

If you are concerned about your current crow’s feet and you don’t want them to worsen as you sleep, one tip you can try at home is sleeping on your back. Many suggest sleeping on your back in order to avoid pressing your face on your pillows for hours at a time and waking up with lines on your face.

"I used [Apsara's Cucumber Under Eye Serum] and within a month, it significantly reduced my wrinkles and fine lines around my eye area. It’s worth every penny, and I highly recommend it."

2. Limit Your Screen Time

Lately, we’ve all become accustomed to using our tablets, laptops, and smartphones more often than we should. While they are necessary for work and have been a welcome source of relief these days, your screen time might be contributing to your crow’s feet and the wrinkles around your eye area. Staring at your screen for far too long may lead to eye strain and tired eyes, which may eventually cause crow’s feet. The solution to this is simple; limit your screen time. While cutting off your screen time completely is almost impossible in this day and age, you should try cutting off your screen time by at least an hour, especially before you go to sleep.

3. Use a High-Quality Eye Serum

Using a high-quality eye serum is essential if you are serious about diminishing crow’s feet. Your eye area is delicate; applying too much pressure or harsh chemicals to this area can cause crow’s feet as well as dark circles and puffiness. At the same time, though, you need to nourish your eye area in order to avoid any unpleasant dryness. This is where an eye serum comes in. A high-quality eye serum is specifically made to nourish your eye area and minimize dryness and inflammation. Many eye serums also contain antioxidants, fatty acids, and other nutrients that can soothe your skin and diminish the appearance of crow’s feet and wrinkles around your eye area.

A high-quality eye serum should be a part of your nighttime beauty routine so that it starts working on your skin as you sleep. If you need suggestions, at Apsara Skin Care, we recommend using our Cucumber Under Eye Serum. It is made with no harsh chemicals, and it has been handcrafted to target crow’s feet, dark circles, and puffy eyes.

Of course, there are natural home remedies that you can use to eliminate crow’s feet and wrinkles around your eye area. When used alongside your all-natural eye serum, these home remedies can make that crow’s feet and those wrinkles vanish before your very eyes!

1. Banana & Turmeric Home Remedy to Get Rid of Crow’s Feet

One way to diminish the appearance of crow’s feet and wrinkles around your eye area is to utilize antioxidants. Antioxidants mitigate the damage from free radicals, which may be responsible for your crow’s feet as well as discoloration and premature signs of aging. This home remedy contains several antioxidant-rich ingredients: Vitamin E, turmeric, banana, and green tea. Even the banana peel contains antioxidants, which is why it is a part of this eye mask.

Ingredients

6 drops of Vitamin E oil

⅛ tsp. of turmeric powder

1 tsp. of mashed banana

1 tsp. of corn or oat flour

Cooled brewed green tea, as needed

Instructions

Mix the Vitamin E oil, turmeric, banana, and flour of your choice together. Add enough green tea to the mixture until you get a thick paste.

Using scissors or a knife, cut out 2 pieces of a banana peel. Each piece should be big enough to cover one of your eyes.

Apply the paste onto the banana peel pieces.

Place the banana peel pieces over your eyes. For 1 minute, gently press the peels until the paste sticks onto your eye area. Leave them on your eyes for 10 to 12 minutes.

Gently wash your eye area with warm water. Follow with your eye serum.

Use 1 to 2 times a week.

2. Black Tea & Vitamin E Eye Sheet Mask to Fade the Appearance of Eye Wrinkles

This home remedy is a little simpler compared to the one above, but it is just as effective in eliminating crow’s feet. Though this DIY sheet mask uses black tea instead of green tea, black tea also contains antioxidants like polyphenols and catechins that promote a more youthful eye area.

Ingredients

10 to 12 drops of Vitamin E oil

¼ tsp. of turmeric powder

1 tbsp. of oat flour

Cooled brewed black tea, as needed

Instructions

Mix the Vitamin E oil, turmeric, and oat flour together. Add enough black tea to the mixture until you get a thin paste.

Using scissors or a knife, cut a paper towel into 2 squares. Each square should be big enough to cover one of your eyes.

Apply the paste onto the paper towel pieces. Add enough black tea to the pieces until they are both damp, not wet.

Place the paper towel pieces over your eyes. Leave them on your eyes for 10 to 12 minutes.

Gently wash your eye area with warm water. Follow with your eye serum.

Use 1 to 2 times a week.
