Recipes? To eat? Really?

You might have been a little surprised when you clicked to read this post. We’re a skin care company, not a recipe and culinary database (at least, not yet anyway ;D). However, we know that beautiful skin starts from within. Even if you use high-quality, all natural products in your skin care routine, having a poor diet can reduce or sometimes completely negate that.

This is why we want to help. Trying to have a healthier diet can be daunting, but having a resource to fall back on when you’re starting something new is incredibly handy. Even trying just a few of these recipes can change how you see food and change your health for the better. Improving the condition of your skin is just an added bonus.

These 5 recipes are packed with good foods that your body will love. They’re easy to make, and they’re organic with no GMOs. You must try them today, especially if you want healthy-looking skin! These recipes only serve one person, but if you really like them, share them with your friends and family.

1. Spinach & Red Bean Salad for Flawless Skin

Spinach won’t give you Popeye’s super strength, but it is still a very powerful vegetable. Spinach has compounds such as antioxidants, Vitamin A, and Vitamin C that are responsible for delaying the aging process and maintaining the health of your skin. Internally, the carotenoids, a type of antioxidant, in spinach can help reduce your risk of cancer. Meanwhile, red kidney beans are an important inclusion to this salad because they are a good source of fiber as well as protein.

Ingredients

¼ cup of cooked red kidney beans

½ cup of spinach greens

2 tbsp. of raisins

3 tbsp. of cracked, roasted cashews

1 cucumber

Extra virgin olive oil, as needed

Salt, as needed

Black pepper, as needed

Instructions

Cut the cucumber in half and then cut those halves into slices.

Mix the cucumber slices, red kidney beans, spinach, raisins, and cashews in a bowl.

Drizzle extra virgin olive oil onto your salad.

Add salt and pepper to the salad per your liking.

2. Kale & Turnip Soup for a Clean, Healthy Body

This kale and turnip soup recipe definitely must be tried at least once. Kale is a superfood and a powerhouse of nutrition; for instance, it contains more Vitamin C than

an orange. Kale also detoxifies your insides, removing any impurities that could be aging you internally. Turnips, on the other hand, have nutrients that will greatly benefit your skin, such as antioxidants, Vitamin A, and Vitamin K. Considering how good this soup smells when it’s cooking, you will definitely turnip for it once it finishes.

Ingredients

2 turnips

½ cup of kale greens

¼ cup of garbanzo beans

1 tbsp. of olive oil

¼ cup of quinoa

½ cup of French green beans

1 ripe Roma tomato

Water, as needed

Salt, as needed

Black pepper, as needed

Instructions

In a bowl, soak garbanzo beans in water overnight. In the morning, drain the water out of the bowl.

Cut the turnips into cubes.

Finely cut the kale.

Cut the Roma tomato into cubes.

Cut the french green beans into 1-inch pieces.

In a pot, mix the garbanzo beans, turnips, kale, tomato, green beans, olive oil, and quinoa together. Add enough water to the pot until it covers the mixture.

Cook over medium heat for half an hour.

Add salt and pepper to the soup per your liking.

3. Chocolate & Banana Smoothie for a More Youthful Body

Cacao is a rich source of antioxidants, specifically flavonoids, that eliminate free radicals in your body; without antioxidants, free radicals would cause our cells to deteriorate faster. The potassium in bananas helps keep your heart healthy, and it regulates your blood pressure, which lowers your risk of stroke and heart disease.

Ingredients

Half of a ripe banana

1 tsp. of cacao

¼ tsp. of turmeric powder

½ cup of coconut milk

Water, as needed

Powdered brown sugar, as needed

Instructions

In a blender, mix banana, cacao, turmeric, and coconut milk together.

If the smoothie is too thick for you, add water to make it runny.

Add brown sugar to your smoothie per your liking.

If you have extra cacao at home, you can use it with green tea and brown sugar to enhance your natural glow. Enjoy and please subscribe to my YouTube channel!

4. Cracked Wheat & Red Lentils to Keep Your Body Functioning at Peak Efficiency

Eating cracked wheat and red lentils together will promote the health of your heart, and this will help reduce high cholesterol as well as your risk of cardiovascular problems

such as high blood pressure. Cracked wheat and red lentils are also high in fiber; adding more fiber to your diet improves your digestion, reduces hunger, and keeps you regular. In addition to this, red lentils have protein, which is useful for those who are vegetarian or vegan.

Ingredients

¼ cup of cracked wheat
