Some people just can’t help it; they have an inner glow about them that no one can deny. There are many reasons for this, but no matter what, their inner glow has made their skin look more beautiful. Sometimes, you’ll notice a person’s inner glow when you’re up close and personal with them, but if you can spot it from someone across the room, that’s when you know without a doubt that their skin is stunning and radiant.

When someone’s inner glow shines so brightly, it’s natural to feel a little envious and want one for yourself. Perhaps you may have tried a number of ways to bump up your inner glow, from using more makeup to trying different kinds of over-the-counter skin care products. However, we are here to tell you that getting a better inner glow doesn’t have to be difficult. In fact, it can be relatively simple when you know what to do in the first place. Today, we will share with you 3 methods you should use to get a beautiful inner glow. When your inner glow shines even amidst dull fluorescent lighting, that is generally a good sign that your skin is healthy, radiant, and youthful.

1. Follow a Sattvic Diet to Get a Healthy Body & Stunning Inner Glow

While most of us think of diets as ways to lose weight or get a healthier body, the right diet can also help you get a more radiant inner glow. We’re talking about the sattvic diet. The sattvic diet is a diet that has been used in Ayurveda for thousands of years. This diet emphasizes nutrient-rich, organic whole foods, foods that are designed to nourish your body and provide a lot of stability. These foods include seasonal fruits and vegetables, whole grains, nuts, seeds, and legumes.

In addition to bestowing your body with more nourishment and nutrition, a sattvic diet is meant to help you have a better mental attitude. The foods that you eat through this diet are thought of as pure, balancing, and healthy. In contrast, foods that slow your body down are called tamasic and foods that stimulate your body are called rajasic. By avoiding an excess of tamasic and rajasic foods and eating more sattvic foods instead, it is said in Ayurveda that your mind will become calmer, clearer, and better able to tackle life’s challenges. When your mind is balanced and it is unencumbered by either stress or lethargy, a beautiful inner glow may soon begin to show up on your skin.

"ROOP is remarkable. It is very hydrating, and it does give my skin the beautiful glow I was looking for. As an add-on bonus, it is remarkable under makeup. I definitely recommend ROOP, and it is worth the investment to get beautiful skin."

2. Reduce the Toxic Load in Your System Through Your Diet

Whether you try a sattvic diet or another diet that is high in nutrients, you might be able to notice your inner glow soon as long as your diet does not contain any harsh chemicals. Harsh chemicals like preservatives and additives run rampant in countless foods offered today, and these harsh chemicals are not good for the health of your skin. They can easily contribute to the toxic load of your system. Your body is naturally equipped to detoxify itself - the liver being a prime example - but if there is too much toxic load in your system, your liver may not be able to handle it all at once and those toxins could start showing up on your skin as dullness, more pronounced lines and wrinkles, et cetera.

By switching to a sattvic diet or an all-natural diet, you can decrease the number of harsh chemicals that enter your system and increase the number of nutrients that indirectly benefit your skin. For example, a sattvic diet and an all-natural diet are good sources of fiber. Fiber has detoxifying properties and benefits your gut microbiome, which is essential in Ayurveda. Including more detoxifying foods like fiber into your diet can decrease your toxic load, which will help you achieve a more beautiful inner glow in no time.

3. Use the Right Skin Care Products to Enhance Your Skin’s Natural Radiance

As you might expect, skin care products can improve your inner glow, but only if you choose the right products that work for you. To start, you should only use products that are all-natural and made with no harsh chemicals. As we mentioned above, harsh chemicals increase your toxic load and the same can be said with your skin care routine. You don’t want any harsh chemicals in the products you use to seep into your skin and start affecting your glow and vitality. All-natural skin care products, on the other hand, are made with natural oils and other compounds that are designed to nourish your skin without irritating it.

Second, you must use skin care products that match your skin type. Even if your products are all-natural, they won’t be able to accomplish much if they aren’t used correctly. For example, if you have oily skin, you wouldn’t want to use products that could make it even oilier, right? When you use the right products for your skin type to nourish and protect your skin, your inner glow may start to look more pronounced on your skin.

In summary, what you expose your skin to is important. If you want a beautiful inner glow, you need to invest in high-quality, all-natural skin care products that work for your skin, not against.
