When our lines, wrinkles, and sagging skin become more noticeable, one fun trick that many of us are certainly guilty of doing is pulling the skin back on our face. It may only be temporary, but it is nice every once in a while to look into a mirror and not immediately be greeted by your sagging skin and signs of aging. In fact, given how much most of us like how our skin looks in this position, a little part of us does wish that we could pull back our skin for as long as we wanted.

And yet, did you know that it is possible to firm up your skin naturally? While you won’t be able to completely reverse the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and sagging skin, there are tips you can try to keep your skin youthful and stunning for as long as possible. Today, we will share some of our favorites with you. Keep reading to learn 3 ways to maintain tight skin naturally. If you long for the days when your skin didn’t sag or you spend too much time pulling your skin back in front of a mirror, you should not miss any of these tips.

1. Firm Up Your Skin with a Facial Massage

To get firm, tight skin at home, you will need to start massaging your skin regularly and how you do so is important. As a guideline, you should work against gravity, not with it. When your skin starts to sag, it will naturally droop downward, and massaging in this direction won’t be as effective and could make that sagginess and those lines and wrinkles more prominent. Instead, always massage your skin with upward circular strokes to firm up your skin. Don’t tug or pull your skin as you massage, and try to be as gentle as possible.

Massaging your skin can boost blood circulation and cell turnover, both of which help contribute to more glowing, youthful skin. To get the most out of your facial massage, we highly recommend massaging your skin whenever you need to apply your facial lotion. Massaging your skin with your facial lotion is thought to help your skin absorb your product better, and it can also nourish your skin so that sagging skin, fine lines, and wrinkles look far less prominent. With the right facial lotion, your skin can start to look soft, supple, and firm in no time. At Apsara Skin Care, we have a selection of handcrafted facial lotions made for your skin type. 2. Exercise Regularly to Tighten Up Sagging Skin

In addition to premature aging, you can develop sagging skin if you lose weight too quickly. Making a serious effort to achieve your goal weight is admirable, but sometimes, your body and skin aren’t able to catch up with your metabolism. As a result, sagginess may be common not just with your face but also with the rest of your body. A lot of people decide to go under the knife to get rid of their sagging skin, but you can gradually tighten up your skin through exercise. Exercises such as sit-ups, pushups, and squats help tone the definition of your body so that sagging skin starts fading naturally. For those that are just concerned with the fine lines, wrinkles, and sagging skin on their face, there are plenty of facial exercises you can do to firm up your skin and achieve a more youthful look.

In the past, we have discussed how yoga and breathing exercises are capable of making your skin look more ageless, which you will be able to read more about here.

3. Exfoliate Your Skin Once or Twice a Week to Remove Dead Cells

What you might perceive as visible fine lines, wrinkles, and sagging skin could be far less noticeable if you exfoliate regularly. Exfoliation is a process in which you slough off the dead cells on the surface of your skin in order to reveal the new, glowing, and youthful cells underneath. Your skin is able to shed off these dead cells by itself, but if too many dead cells accumulate on the surface, they may make lines and wrinkles look more prominent. As a result, exfoliating your skin can speed up this process so that dead cells are routinely removed and your skin starts looking more youthful.

Exfoliation is a wonderful tool at your disposal, but you must not overdo it. At most, you should exfoliate only once or twice a week, and you should avid exfoliation if you have acne or your skin is sensitive. Remember, you want your skin to be firm, tight, and youthful, not red, swollen, and irritated.

There are many ways to exfoliate your skin naturally and safely. You can use a facial scrub, and at Apsara Skin Care, our Nut Shell Facial Scrub is quite popular among our customers. You can also use a home remedy once or twice a week, and you will be able to learn some of our favorite exfoliating home remedies by reading this article
